My goal is to inspire you and to help you prepare delicious and beautiful homemade desserts from scratch without the need to spend many hours in the kitchen.
Who is behind this blog?
My name is Daniela – a self taught baker, mother, full time employee at a corporate job during the week, blogger and photographer during the weekend. I enjoy all forms of art and I constantly feel the need to be creative.
This blog started in early 2012 as my virtual recipe notebook, initially meant to present recipes of any kind. But very soon desserts became its main topic. That wasn’t surprising for the people around me: I love eating desserts and since ever I admire beautiful and delicious pastry creations and cakes with gorgeous designs.

What are you going to find in Dani’s Cookings?
Recipes: mainly desserts and occasionally savoury recipes. All the food presented in this blog is made from scratch, with high quality ingredients and a lot of love. Most of the recipes are simple and not very time consuming.
Baking tips: In many of my recipes and posts I try to give baking advices in order to help you save time and efforts and achieve the best possible results. Recently I decided to gather for you some of my most important tips in a short e-book. I definitely won’t stop here: you can expect me to share even more baking knowledge in the future!
Tutorials: Teaching others comes naturally to me as I have many years of training and coaching experience in my “real” job. I love creating tutorials and the only reason why so far I have published only a few of them here is due to my limited time (I know, that’s just an excuse :)). If you have a specific baking topic you want to learn about, don’t hesitate to write me! In the meantime check out my Fondant flowers tutorial or my video How to make a cake with fondant fruits.
