A wonderful recipe for savoury rolls that are equally great for breakfast, lunch or dinner: these Keto Cream Cheese Rolls are easy to make with simple ingredients and don’t require from you to spend much time in the kitchen.

    What exactly are these rolls

These rolls (or buns) are similar to bread and also to biscuits. Their consistency is soft and crumbly and their taste is nice and nutty. My first intention was to make keto bread rolls but eventually they turned out more similar to biscuits. That’s why I just called them Cream Cheese Rolls because they are made with cream cheese as a base ingredient. They are savoury and perfect to eat with any low carb meal like meat or chicken.

What ingredients do you need for this recipe

Cream cheese and coconut flour are the base ingredients for these rolls. You will also need ground flax seeds and ground pumpkin seeds. If you don’t have pumpkin seeds, substitute them with ground pistachio or almond meal. You would also need one egg, olive oil, salt and baking powder. This recipe does not require xanthan gum or psyllium husk which are typical for most keto bread recipes. That’s why you might find the consistency a bit unusual, yet the rolls are easy, simple and delicious!
In the recipe below the post you will find all ingredient quantities with detailed preparation steps.

How to make keto cream cheese rolls step by step

    How to make these buns

These rolls are no knead and very easy to make. You just need to mix all dry ingredients with a hand whisk and then add the egg and the cream cheese. Use a wooden spoon to combine everything into a soft dough. Make balls and arrange them on the baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or until the rolls start becoming golden.
Find the detailed preparation steps below the post.

How do you serve these rolls

You can eat them for breakfast with some butter. Or you can have them together with a nice lunch or dinner: with a soup, a salad or a low carb main dish. They are really tasty and can perfectly substitute the bread if you are following a keto diet.
